MIAMI GARDENS, Fla.—The good news just keeps rolling in for St Thomas athletics as the men's golf team has now added more accolades to the mantel. Today the men's top 25 rankings were released and the Alex Fernandez coached squad was ranked 10th in country following their 2nd place finish at The Sun Conference Championships.
The news kept getting better as STU was able to secure one of the eight available an at-large bid's to the national championships. The 60th Annual NAIA Men's Golf National Championships take place from May 24th through May 27th at TPC Deere Run in Quad Cities, Illinois.
The field of 28 teams and 156 golfers will play a four round stroke play championships with a cut to the best 17 teams and top 40 individual golfers after 54 holes.
