MIAMI GARDENS, FLA. – The Sun Conference regular season champion St. Thomas women's basketball team enters the Sun Conference Championship Tournament as the No. 1 overall seed.
The Bobcats defeated the eighth seed Thomas Night Hawks 77-50 on Tuesdat, in the first of four quarter finals matchups.
As the top seeded team, the Bobcats will continue to host each round at the Fernandez Family Center. The semifinal round will be played Friday with St. Thomas vs. fourth-seeded Webber International at 5 p.m. followed by second-seeded Ave Maria vs. third-seeded Southeastern at 7 p.m. The Sun Conference Championship game tips off Saturday at 3 p.m.

Tickets for all Sun Conference Tournament games are $5 for adults and $3 for children. Tickets can be purchased at the door.
