MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. –
Dannisha Pierce scored 27 points to lead St. Thomas (13-3, 6-0 TSC) to its eighth consecutive win and a resounding 73-54 win over Florida Memorial (5-12, 2-4) on Tuesday night at the Fernandez Family Center.

Pierce shot 10-of-15 from the floor and 7-of-10 from the free throw line en route to her game-high 27 points. Pierce, the nation's leader in steals, recorded six steals and also grabbed eight rebounds.

Antishia Wright scored 15 points and pulled down eight rebounds. Wright also dished out five assists and recorded three steals.

Claudia Martin and
Jamesha Willis also scored in double-figures, each with 11 points. Willis was particularly effective off the bench, shooting 4-of-5 from the field and grabbing five boards. Martin also pulled down seven rebounds.

STU dominated the game, leading by as many as 25 points. STU shot 47% from the field, while holding FMU to just 31% shooting.
