MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. - The Bobcats (2-1) won their second straight with a victory over the Knights of Middle Georgia (3-4).  The Bobcats controlled the tempo of the match, and, at times, had to control their poise.  But alas, the Bobcats dominated the time of possession, leading to a clean sweep of the Knights when you factor in the Bobcats victory in the women's match-up.

The Bobcats were first on the board when Chris Valdes found Hector Mena inside the box in the game's 6th minute.  That would be the only score needed, as the Bobcats never left matters in doubt.  The game, however, was not without it's drama.  8 cards were handed out over the course of the contest.  But again, the Bobcats regained their poise to close out the Knights.  Goalkeeper Deljan Bregasi improved to 2-1, and earned his first shut-out of the season.

The Bobcats return to the pitch on Sunday, September 13, when they head up to Fort Lauderdale to take on NCAA DII opponent, Nova Southeastern.  Kick-off is set for 1 P.M. E.T.
