BOBCATS EXTEND UNDEFEATED STREAK TO SIX STRAIGHT

Lakeland, Fla.- St. Thomas (7-5-2, TSC 6-1-1) edged past conference opponent Southeastern (7-8, TSC 4-3) by a score of 1-0 in what was a close, competitive match up.

St. Thomas has extended its undefeated streak to six with five wins and one draw over the last six matches.  

An early 13th minute goal in the first half lifted the Bobcats to victory. Kris Wilkinson netted the goal for St. Thomas  with a brilliant and powerful strike that would ultimately lead STU to victory.

Wilkinson finished the match with four shots and one on goal, which ended up being the game winning goal. Pablo Gill added two shots in the game. Artur Sharapov closed out the match with one shot on goal, being his only shot in the game. 

Connor Christie ended the match with four saves, completing a shutout, his first of the season. 

Next up for the Bobcats is the final conference matchup of the season, and final regular season game for St. Thomas, going up against Florida Memorial on Tuesday, November 1 at 7 p.m. at the Bobcats Field.
