Michael Centeno hit a go-ahead grand slam to propel St. Thomas (32-18, 15-8 TSC) to an 11-6 win over host Thomas (21-29, 7-17 TSC) in the second game of a doubleheader Friday evening. Ā STU lost the first game of the doubleheader 10-4.

Bryan Bermudez. Thomas cuntered with two runs of their own in the bottom of the seventh to put the game away and win game one.
St. Thomas came out swinging early with an Aguirre RBI double down the rightfield line, scoring
Cesar Ramirez. The Night Hawks scored five big runs in the bottom of the first to jump out to a big lead. Bobcats tacked on two more runs in the second and third with Gutierrez and
Jack Diaz RBI singles scoring O. Rodriguez and Canino.Ā The Bobcats trailed 6-4 in the bottom of the seventh with the bases loaded for Centeno who blasted a grand slam to give STU the lead. Ā Third baseman
Cesar Ramirez then hit a solo homer in the eighth for an insurance run.
Alejandro Kan (6-0) came out of the bullpen to earn the win for the Bobcats. Kan allowed one run through seven innings with six hits, one walk and nine whopping strike outs to keep the bobcats in the game.Ā
The series concludes with the regular series finale for both teams on Saturday in Thomasville, Ga. at 12 p.m.
