Lawrenceville, Ga. – St. Thomas (0-0-1) ties with Georgia Gwinnett (0-0-1) by a score of 0-0 at the Grizzly Classic.
 
St. Thomas starts its' season off with a hard-fought, grueling match that not only went into extra time but had a two hour rain delay in the middle of it. Teams entered the half tied at zero hoping to come out and continue to play but torrential rain came down keeping the teams from playing.
 
The St. Thomas offense ended the game with 11 total shots seven of which were on goal. Kris Wilkinson led the Bobcat attack with three out of our 11 shots for the game.
 
The defense kept it together despite the weather conditions and shutout the Grizzlies. Connor Christie had a great game for the Bobcats by saving all seven shots on goal. 
 
Next up for the Bobcats is another match in the Grizzly Classic against Middle Georgia State University Saturday, August 27^th at 4:30 p.m.
