Miami Shores, Fla. – St. Thomas (0-3-1) losses to Barry University (4-0) with a score of 3-2 at Buccaneer Field.
 
St. Thomas came into the game still searching for its first regular season win. Both teams started off the game slow as they went into the half without scoring a goal.
 
Bobcats finally struck first with a dynamic strike from Federico Moronell in the 48^th minute of the game. The strike came in clutch as both teams were looking for a spark. Moronell provided that spark as he struck again with his second goal in five minutes off an assist from Abraham Bibas to give St. Thomas the 2-0 lead in the 53^rd minute.
 
The lead was short lived as the Buccaneers countered with 3 unanswered goals in the 58^th, 61^st and 63^rd minute. Bobcats continued to attack but couldn't find the equalizing goal.
 
Next up for St. Thomas is a match against Keiser University on Wednesday, September 14^th at 3 p.m.
