MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – St. Thomas (5-8) kept the full-court press on Emmanuel College (6-4) to come away with a 65-39 victory. The Bobcats had a team total 25 steals in their impressive display of pressure on the Saints.
Emmanuel College turned the ball over 32 times and shot just 28 percent from the field while going 0-for-3 from beyond the arc. Coming into the game with a winning record, their team totals were a testament to the pressure put on by St. Thomas.
The three players that led the way for the Bobcats were 
Samara Auguste, 
Desanta' Franklin-Jordan, and 
Supavadee Kunchuan. Auguste led all players with 13 assists and eight steals, while adding eight points to her totals. Franklin-Jordan led all players with 17 points while tallying seven rebounds and four steals. Kunchuan had a team-high eight rebounds and totaled 15 points and five steals.
Next up for St. Thomas is a Sun Conference matchup against Thomas University Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Fernandez Family Center.
