MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. - St. Thomas (10-1-1, 8-0 TSC) extended their undefeated conference record to 8-0 in Sun Conference play by beating Johnson & Wales (7-5-1, 4-3-1 TSC) on Wednesday night at Bobcat Field.
Scoring for the Bobcats were
Konstantinos Mylonas netting his 9th goal on the year, off an assist by Chris Giraldo and
Harry Molyneux, scoring his first goal of the year.
This match marked the seventh shutout in twelve matches for the Bobcats this season. In conference competition, the Bobcats have continued to be dominant, outscoring conference teams 31-2 with six shutouts on the year.
Both goals on the match came in the second half for the Bobcats with Mylonas coming in the 51st minute with an assist from Chris Giraldo.
Harry Molyneux added his goal in the 75th minute after a cross from
Tomas Greco.
Goalkeeper
Connor Christie earned another clean sheet for his efforts, needing only one save.
The Bobcats will return to action with the final Sun Conference match of the season, at home against SCAD-Savannah (Ga.) on Saturday, October 28th at 4 p.m. at Bobcat Field.
