THOMASVILLE, Ga. - 17th ranked St. Thomas (5-1, 3-0 TSC) remained perfect in Sun Conference competition with an impressive 3-1 road win over Thomas Univ. (3-5-1, 1-1-1 TSC).

Jon Quintana each scored goals for the Bobcats who never trailed in the contest.
After a scoreless first 20 minutes of the match, STU struck first as Moronell scored off an assist by
Christian Giraldo. The goal marked the eighth for Moronell who earlier this season was named NAIA National Player of the Week.
As the Bobcat defense continued to shut out the Nighthawks in the first half, Greco found the back of the net in the 41st minute to earn his second goal of the season. The Greco goal gave the Bobcats a 2-0 cushion heading into the intermission.
A Nighthawk goal in the 56th minute cut the STU lead in half and the score remained 2-1 into the final minutes of the match.
Playing down a man late, the Bobcats were able to hold off TU down the stretch with a goal by Quintana in the 88th minute icing the contest to give STU a third straight Sun Conference win.

Robert Barton recorded three saves and allowed just the one goal. STU won the match despite being outshot by TU 12-9.
St. Thomas returns to Sun Conference action this Wednesday at 3:30 pm in West Palm Beach when the Bobcats visit league rival Keiser.
