The Royals got off to an early start as they scored four runs in the first two innings to jump to a quick 4-0 lead on the Bobcats. With Warner leading 4-0 the first baseman hit a deep fly ball to left-center, Oscar Rodriguez made an incredible catch, robbing extra bases to hold the Royal lead and allow St Thomas to comeback in the bottom half with momentum.

Immediately following the two-RBI double from Lopez, Rodriguez (2-4, 2 RBI) drilled one to right center to bring home Lopez.

St. Thomas scored runs in each of the innings from the second to the seventh to collect their 11 runs in the game. The entire starting lineup for the Bobcats each notched at least one hit in the effort, to total 15 on the game. Lopez led the charge for St. Thomas as he went 3-for-5 with two doubles, two RBIs and three runs to earn Golden Rake honors.

Orlando Rodriguez (9-0) earned his ninth win in the outing, as his final line read seven innings pitched with only two earned runs and six K's on 26 batters faced. Danger Guevara came into the game in the eighth inning for the Bobcats and pitched the final two innings, striking out three while not allowing a hit.
