th, 2019) – (RV) St. Thomas University Women's Basketball team (17-5, 9-2 TSC) defeated the Thomas University Nighthawks (7-16, 4-8 TSC) 74-70 in an overtime Sun Conference battle on Thursday night.

- Samara Auguste opened up an early three-point lead for the Bobcats, as the senior made an early three-point bucket.
- Moments later, Anari Dozier added her first two points of the game from the charity stripe to maintain the early three-point STU lead over TU.
- Thomas claimed their first lead of the game, midway through the first quarter as the Bobcats trailed the Nighthawks 7-6.
- The Bobcats weren't trailing for long, as Jaddah Knight converted an and-one attempt, as the senior made a lay-up and her free throw attempt.
- With thirty seconds remaining in the first quarter, Auguste added a lay-up which gave STU their largest lead of the quarter, at 15-9.
- Thomas cut the STU lead to three as the Sun Conference opponents went into the second quarter and maintained their momentum in the second quarter, which gave TU a 21-17 lead.
- Keiana Brooks got the Bobcats back their lead with around six minutes left in the second quarter by adding a three-point bucket.
- Knight showed some muscle in the paint once again in the second quarter, converting another and-one attempt to give STU a 27-24 lead.
- The Bobcats went into the halftime break trailing the Nighthawks 32-31.
- With only two minutes remaining in the first half, the Bobcats were trailing 48-40, cutting the lead to just four with a minute left in the third quarter.
- STU opened the fourth quarter on a 9-0 run to reclaim the lead, capped off by two Brooks free throw makes.
- Thomas tied the game at the free throw line with under thirty seconds remaining in the game. Brooks missed an opportunity to win the game at the buzzer from beyond the arc, as the game went into overtime.
- St. Thomas did not trail the entire overtime period, as Dozier gave STU their final lead of the game by making a lay-up.
- The Bobcats finished off the Nighthawks from the free throw line as Auguste sealed the 74-70 Sun Conference win.
