MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – The St. Thomas University Women's Basketball team (13-4, 5-1 TSC) continued their winning ways, extending their winning streak to double-digits at ten games, by defeating Webber International University (6-8, 1-5 TSC) in the Sun Conference Game of the Week from the Fernandez Family Center on Thursday, January 3
rd.
The streak has continued into 2019, as it started on November 29
th against the College of Coastal Georgia. The Bobcats need only one more win to tie the longest winning streak of the Head Coach
Candace Walker-era (11 games, 1/13/18-2/15/18).

- St. Thomas opened the game trailing Webber International 7-2, before rallying on a 9-4 run to tie the game with Ebony Griffin knocking in two free throws from the charity stripe.

- STU built their largest lead of the season, at 32-points, as Gianni Domond and Brooks made four consecutive free throws to seal the teams 10th consecutive victory.
