LAKE WALES, Fla. – St. Thomas University Women's Basketball team (14-4, 6-1 TSC) defeated the Warner Royals (6-12, 0-7 TSC) 78-58 in Sun Conference action on Saturday afternoon.

Heading into the game, St. Thomas is 25-1 since the 2008-09 season against Warner and are currently riding a 21-game winning streak.

Head Coach Candace Walker has tied her career-high for consecutive wins, as the team as ran their current winning streak to eleven consecutive wins, dating back to November 29^th.

• STU started slowly in the matchup versus WU, falling behind 20-12 after the first quarter of play.
• The Bobcats claimed their first lead of the game with 5:20 remaining in the first half, as part of a 17-1 run which gave STU a 29-23 lead.
