MIAMI SHORES, Fla. (October 2, 2019) - St. Thomas University Women's Soccer (4-3, 2-1 TSC) lost 1-0 in a mid-afternoon match against crosstown opponent, Johnson & Wales University (7-1, 2-0 TSC) on Wednesday from the Miami Shores Recreational Field.

- Within the first minute of action, the Bobcats recorded their first shot of the contest, as a Benito attempt was blocked by the JWU defense.
- STU maintained an aggressive attack throughout the first half, out-shooting JWU 11-8. Six different Bobcats attempted a shot, with Benito leading the team with four.
