MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (October 22, 2019) - St. Thomas University finished (8-13) finished their season head-to-head schedule against Florida National University (12-11) and defeated the Conquistadors in four sets (25-21, 25-19, 21-25, 25-20) on Tuesday evening from the Fernandez Family Center.

Game Notes
- In the first set, STU rallied for four consecutive points, taking a 13-11 lead. The four-point swing was capped off by back-to-back kills by Batsel and Brock, which forced FNU to use a timeout.
- Consecutive kills from Allende extended the Bobcats lead to 15-12.
- Chenault added a kill and a FNU error, gave St. Thomas a six-point advantage, 21-15.
- Brock sealed the first set victory, recording her third kill of the set, as the Bobcats won 25-21.
- STU opened the second set with a 5-0 run. Beecham began the set with a service ace, coupled with a Brock kill and three FNU errors to start the set.
- Florida National followed with a 5-0 rally of their own, tying the set. STU recovered, recording four consecutive points of their own and took a 9-5 lead.
- Chenault, Dani Femat, Beecham all added points to extend the STU advantage to 17-11.
- The Bobcat lead was never lower than four points for the duration of the second set, as STU took a 2-0 set advantage.
- Sarimar Lai gave St. Thomas a lead midway through the third set, putting the Bobcats ahead, 15-14.
- Florida National rallied for four consecutive points, and did not allow STU to reclaim the lead, taking the third set, 21-25.
- In the fourth set, four straight kills from Bolinger, Taytumn Schlegel - Ridgway, Allende, Brock gave STU a 5-2 advantage.
- St. Thomas sealed the match win, following an Allende kill to win the fourth set, 25-20.
