MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (October 23, 2019) – St. Thomas University Volleyball (9-13, 5-7 TSC) outlasted Sun Conference leader, Keiser University (25-9, 9-3 TSC) in five sets. The Bobcats won the match (23-25, 25-22, 25-21, 28-30, 15-10) on Wednesday night from the Fernandez Family Center.

Game Notes
- Back-to-back kills from Allende and Bolinger tied the first set at 8-8.
- A combined block from Chenault and Brock put STU ahead for 10-9, for the Bobcats first lead of the set.
- Allende recorded consecutive kills, leading St. Thomas to their biggest lead of the first set, at 17-13.
- A four-point rally by the Seahawks tied the score at 17-17.
- Chenault added back-to-back kills, putting St. Thomas ahead 21-19 and forcing Keiser to use a timeout.
- KU finished the set by recording five consecutive points, taking the first set over STU, 23-25.
- Brock gave STU an early 2-1lead in the second set, recording a kill.
- Dani Femat capped off a four-point rally by the Bobcats with a service ace, as St. Thomas took an 8-5 advantage.
- Bolinger pushed the STU lead to 17-11, adding another kill to her match total.
- Once again, Chenault added consecutive kills, giving STU a 22-19 lead, as Keiser used a timeout.
- Allende tied the match, 1-1, finishing the second set with a kill, as STU won 25-22.
- Brock and Vavan teamed up to open the third set with consecutive points, as St. Thomas led 2-0.
- Three straight points by STU, capped with a Vavan service ace, extended the Bobcats third set lead to 12-8.
- STU sealed the third set win, capitalizing off a KU error, winning the set, 25-21.
- The Seahawks opened the fourth set, with a 5-1 lead, before STU called a timeout. Following the break, KU added three more points. Sarimar Lai ended the Seahawks momentum with her first kill of the match.
- The Bobcats rallied to tie the set, 16-16, as Bolinger added a kill and was followed by a KU error.
- Brock added a kill, putting STU one point away from clinching the match, at 24-23.
- Keiser rallied for two points, extending the match before finishing the fourth set win at 30-28.
- In the decisive fifth set, the Bobcats opened a 6-2 lead, following a Brock kill, as Keiser called timeout.
- After the timeout, STU extended the lead to 9-3, as Schlegel – Ridway and Brock recorded kills.
- Bolinger finished the thriller with consecutive kills, as STU knocked off the top-seeded Seahawks in the fifth set, 15-10.
