BABSON PARK, Fla. (November 2^nd, 2019) – The fourteenth ranked St. Thomas University Men's Soccer Team (12-2-1, 6-2-1 TSC) defeated the Webber International University Warriors (9-7, 3-6 TSC) 1-0 on Saturday afternoon to conclude regular season play.

Game Notes:

• Marx gathered his fourth straight start in the net, while earning his eighth win and fifth shut out on the season.
• STU played a very quiet game as there was more possession and connections rather than shots and attacking.
• In the 28^th minute the Warriors made a crucial mistake fouling in the 18-yard box giving St. Thomas a penalty kick.
• The lefty, Franke, was able to put one past the diving keeper.
• Both teams had multiple opportunities as they combined for 25 shots in the game and 13 in the second half.
• However, St. Thomas was able to maintain and hang on for the victory to end the 2019 regular season on a good note.

 
Upcoming:
St. Thomas clinched the third seed in the Sun Conference Quarterfinals. It will be a rematch of last year's tournament match-up, the Bobcats are looking to redeem themselves from the 3-2 heartbreak loss. The match is set for November 9^th at Bobcat Field with a time TBA.
