ADRIAN, MI. (November 30, 2019) - St. Thomas University Women's Basketball (4-3) lost 73-58 to Governors State University (4-6) in game one of the SHU Thanksgiving Classic on Saturday afternoon.

Game Notes
- Domond began the game with STU's first seven-points, as the Bobcats trailed 18-7.
- Dozier was the second Bobcat to get on the board, adding a three-pointer, cutting the Jaguars lead to 18-10.
- As the clock wound down in the first quarter, freshman guard, Kayla Rodriguez, scored on a jumper to bring St. Thomas back within eight.
- STU went into the second quarter trailing, 22-12.
- Brooks, Destiny Wilson and Martinez - Sanz all added three-point makes, cutting the Jaguars lead to seven, 32-25.
- Following the halftime break, Dozier recorded three consecutive baskets to bring the Bobcats within five, 39-34.
- Brooks added back-to-back buckets, sending the game into the fourth quarter with STU trailing, 50-38.
- St. Thomas could not cut the deficit to within five, and trailed by as many as 18, to drop the game 73-58.
