MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (December 30, 2019) - St. Thomas University (STU) Women's Basketball team (6-8) closed the 2019 slate of games with a 79-50 loss to No. 9 Taylor University (TU) Trojans (14-0) on Monday afternoon from the Fernandez Family Center.

- Midway through the first quarter, St. Thomas trailed 8-4 after a Trojan three-pointer.
- Three minutes later, the Bobcats were down 20-9, following another three-point basket.
- Destiny Wilson cut the TU lead to 24-13 with a buzzer-beater to end the quarter.
- Dozier recorded a three-point bucket to bring the Bobcats within eight points, 26-18.
- STU got outscored 17-7 for the remaining eight minutes of the half, heading into the break behind 43-25.
- The Bobcats could not cut the deficit to less than 20 in the second half, dropping the game, 79-50.
