Game Notes

• NAIA Preseason All-American, Orlandro Rodriguez, made his season debut for the sixth-ranked Bobcats against the Warriors and was opposed by Zac Spivy.
• The two aces matched each other pitch-for-pitch throughout the game, as Rodriguez and Spivy each did not allow an earned run through five innings.
• Rodriguez totaled seven strikeouts, while only allowing two hits over five innings of work.
• Jason Graña was the first Bobcat out of the bullpen, entering the game in the sixth inning, allowing one run on two hits.
• Sergio Lopez gave STU a late lead, blasting a solo Home Run for his first of the season in the top of the 7^th.
• WIU tied the game in the bottom half on a RBI triple with two outs off of Graña.
• The Warriors took the lead in the bottom of the 8^th, on a solo home run, to win 2-1.
