MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (March 12
th, 2019) – The tenth-ranked St. Thomas University Bobcats Baseball team (21-7) won in walk-off fashion, 6-5, sweeping a two-game series over Bryant & Stratton College (6-11) under-the-lights on Tuesday night from Paul Demie Mainieri Field.

Game Notes
- Jordan Rodriguez made the start for No. 10 STU in the conclusion of the quick, two-game set, against Bryant & Stratton College, pitching 5.2 innings, while striking out five and allowing three earned runs.
- Rodriguez quickly retired BSC in the first inning, setting the Bobcats down 1-2-3.
- STU jumped in front of BSC, 2-0 in the first inning. As Garabedian singled to centerfield, bringing in Urbaez and Thompson.
- The score held, until the top of the sixth inning, as Rodriguez continued to excel as a starter for St. Thomas.
- The STU defense struggled behind the freshman in the sixth inning, as St. Thomas committed three errors, allowing BSC to score five runs to take a 5-2 lead.
- St. Thomas needed to become the "Comeback Cats", once again, STU trailed 5-2 in the bottom of the eighth inning, when Lopez came to the plate.
- Lopez launched his team-leading, seventh home run of the season, cutting the deficit to 5-3.
- STU needed another rally in the bottom of the ninth inning, with Delgado leading off.
- Delgado reached on an error, as Nick Izquierdo came to the plate (pinch-hitting for Thompson) and singled to left field before Thompson re-entered to run. Urbaez reached on an error, which allowed Delgado and Thompson to score, tying the game at 5-5.
- Lopez came up to the plate, once again, looking to be a winner for St. Thomas. Lopez singled to right field on the first pitch, bringing in Urbaez as the Bobcats won in walk-off fashion, 6-5.
The walk-off victory over Bryant & Stratton, marks the third walk-off win of the season for No. 10 St. Thomas (2/22 vs #24 Keiser & 3/7 vs Mount Vernon Nazarene). Each walk-off hit has come from a different player, as
