LAKE WALES, Fla. (March 30
th, 2019) – The tenth-ranked St. Thomas University Bobcat Baseball team (29-10, 11-4 TSC) were defeated in both games of the Sun Conference doubleheader against No. 21 Warner University (29-13, 9-6), losing game one 8-4 and game two 7-1.

Game Notes
- Ian Exposito (6-2) made the start for St. Thomas, pitching 5.1 innings, striking out four and allowing six earned runs.
- STU fell behind 2-0 in the bottom of the third inning, as WU scored the first two runs of the game on a two-run double.
- The Bobcats responded with a three-run top of the fourth inning, scoring the first run on a Guerra sacrifice fly.
- Back-to-back doubles by Delgado and Urbaez led to two more runs to put St. Thomas in front 3-2.
- Warner added two runs to reclaim the lead in the bottom of the fourth inning, while adding runs in the fifth and sixth innings to take an 8-3 lead.
- STU cut the deficit to 8-4 in the top of the seventh inning as a Sergio Lopez single brought in Delgado.
- The St. Thomas effort to come-back into the game, ended there, as STU dropped game two of the Sun Conference series, 8-4.

- Warner took the lead in the bottom of the first inning on a RBI groundout.
- The Royals scored three more runs n the bottom of the third inning, taking a 4-0 lead over STU.
- St. Thomas scored, what turned into the lone run of the game in the top of the fourth, on a RBI single from Garabedian.
- Warner added three more runs and clinched a 7-1 Sun Conference series win over St. Thomas.
