th, 2019) – No. 10 St. Thomas University (16-5) earned their sixth consecutive victory, defeating Ave Maria University (8-13) 16-4 on Wednesday afternoon from Bowie's Ballpark.

- St. Thomas got on the board early, taking a 2-0 lead in the first inning, as Alejandro Rivero doubled to left center to plate Lopez and Delgado.
- Keanu Guzman started for the Bobcats, earning his first win of the season, as the junior pitched six innings and struck out eight Gyrenes, while only allowing one earned run.
- Ave Maria responded with a two-run bottom half of first, tying the game.
- AMU took their only lead of the game in the bottom of the second inning, scoring one run to take a 3-2 lead.
- The Bobcats reclaimed the lead with a three-run top of the third inning; STU tied the game with a Lopez sacrifice fly to bring in Delgado, Thompson brought in Garabedian on RBI bunt single and Mondejar plated Rivero on a sacrifice fly of his own.
- In the top of the fourth inning, St. Thomas broke the game open, scoring five runs.
- Lopez singled to left to bring in Urbaez and loaded the bases for Rivero. Rivero doubled for his second time in the game, which cleared the bases and brought in three runs, extending the STU lead to 9-3.
- Jack Diaz followed with a RBI single to right field, as STU took a commanding 10-3 lead.
- Lopez added two more RBIs with a single in the top of the fifth inning, bringing in Delgado and Urbaez to put STU ahead 12-3.
- Rivero recorded his sixth RBI of the game, in the fifth inning, with a RBI single to left which plated Lopez.
- STU added three more runs in the top of the sixth inning to take a 16-3 lead over AMU.
- Guzman turned the ball over to Eddie Escribano in the seventh inning to finish the ballgame. St. Thomas earned the 16-4 win over Ave Maria in non-conference play.
