• Alex Sarmiento made his first start of the season, in his 13^th appearance, throwing three innings, striking out three and allowing three hits.
• Eddie Escribano (1-0) pitched the fourth inning, striking out two and earning his first win of the season.
• Sergio Lopez brought in Thompson with a RBI double, in the bottom of the fourth inning, giving STU a 1-0 lead.
• Jack Diaz followed with a RBI single, bringing in Lopez as STU took a 2-0 lead.
• Ave Maria scored a run on a balk in the top of the fifth inning, making the score 2-1.
• On a double steal, STU added their third run of the game, as Garabedian scored.
• A bases-loaded walk by Thompson brought in Izquierdo to extend the lead to 4-1.
• Lopez came to the plate with the bases loaded, following the walk, and launched his 11^th home run of the season in grand fashion, extending the lead to 8-1.
• Jonathan Menendez, Keanu Guzman, Joel Rivero and Tyler Morales pitched the remaining innings, preserving the 8-1 win for the Bobcats.
