nd, 2019) – Sixth-ranked St. Thomas University Bobcats Baseball (38-11, 19-5 TSC) completed Sun Conference play with a three-game sweep over cross-town rival, Florida Memorial (20-25, 8-16 TSC), winning a doubleheader 2-1 and 6-3.

- No. 6 St. Thomas University has clinched a top-two seed in the 2019 Sun Conference tournament with a 19-5 record in Sun Conference play.
- STU needs a loss by Southeastern University over the weekend against Thomas University to clinch back-to-back Regular Season Sun Conference titles.
- The Bobcats have now won 33-consecutive games, dating back to 2009, against the Lions. St. Thomas has won every Sun Conference series since 2009.

- Ian Exposito (9-2) earned his team-leading ninth win of the season, pitching eight innings, striking out 10 and allowing one earned run.
- STU opened the scoring with a sacrifice fly in the top of the second inning, bringing in Lowry.
- Jack Diaz scored the second St. Thomas run of the game on a wild pitch in the top of the third inning, extending the lead to 2-0.
- Exposito retired thirteen consecutive Lion hitters to open the game, bringing a perfect game into the fifth inning, before allowing a single with one out.
- The Bobcat southpaw faced the minimum of fifteen batters through five innings, as Exposito picked off the runner at first base with Garabedian.
- Florida Memorial scored their lone run of the contest in the bottom of the eighth, off Exposito, following a RBI single.
- Jason Graña entered the game in the ninth inning, allowing one hit and picking up his sixth save of the season, closing out a 2-1 Bobcats victory.

- FMU opened the game with a run in the first inning, scoring on a RBI single and taking a 1-0 lead.
- STU tied the game in the top of the second as Mondejar doubled down the third base line to bring in Diaz.
- Florida Memorial added runs with RBI singles in the third and fifth innings to take a 3-1 lead over the Bobcats.
- Lowry lined a single to left field, plating Garabedian and cutting the Bobcat deficit in half, 3-2.
- Joel Rivero (3-0) relieved Coipel in the bottom of the sixth inning.
- A two-out single by Diaz, plated Graña and tied the game at 3-3, in the top of the seventh inning.
- Rivero set the Lions down in order in the bottom of seventh, providing a shutdown inning.
- The Bobcat offense came alive in the top of the eighth inning; Mondejar led off with a single and moved to second on a Lowry sacrifice bunt. Thompson tripled down the left field line to give STU a 4-3 advantage. Back-to-back RBI singles by Delgado and Lopez extended the St. Thomas lead to 6-3.
- Tyler Morales earned his third save of the season, recording the final five outs and sealing the series sweep over the cross-town rival, Lions.
