Notes
- Spalding got the starting nod for the Bobcats and delivered yet another gem picking up her seventh victory on the year.
- The game was paused in the bottom of the second with two outs and a 1-2 count on the Mariner batter due to a lightning delay. The delayed continued as the down pour came and flooded the field.
- Play was postponed to Sunday with the game continuing exactly where it was left off.
- Spalding picked up right where she left off as she sent the Mariner back to dugout looking to start the game back up with the momentum in the Bobcat dugout.
- In the bottom of the third Coastal Georgia sparked a two out rally that plated the first run of the contest and giving them an early one run advantage.
- STU quickly jumped on the board in the next inning as couple of CCG errors led to two runners in scoring position with no one away for Grafals to come to the plate.
- Grafals laid down the perfect squeeze play to plate Sands from third and tie it at one.
- The Bobcats took the lead in the top of the sixth and never looked back.
- Grafals reached on a bunt single and Kruempel doubled to left field to put two into scoring position.
- Manieri came up and blasted a double to right center that plated the two go-ahead runs.
- The bottom of the seventh went down with another Spalding strikeout looking, a Sands amazing diving grab, and a fly out to left field to secure the victory.
Box Score Notables
- Manieri is on a four-game hitting streak while picking up her fourth multi-hit game of the season.
- Kruempel goes 5-for-8 in the double-header sweep.
