MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (August 29, 2019) - St. Thomas University Men's Soccer (1-0) opened the 2019 campaign with a dominant 3-0 win over crosstown rival, Florida Memorial University (1-1) on Thursday evening from Emmanuel Sanon Park.Â
The match signaled the beginning of the 14th year of Head Coach Feliks Mats tenure as the Bobcats bench boss. St. Thomas enters the season winning the Sun Conference tournament in two of the previous three seasons, falling short of a three-peat in the Sun Conference Quarterfinals in 2018.
