MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (September 10, 2019) – St. Thomas University Women's Soccer (2-1) won their second consecutive match, defeating crosstown rival, Florida Memorial University (0-3) 15-1 on Tuesday night in non-conference action from Bobcat Field.

- Following a 19-shot performance in a 1-0 victory over Florida National on Sunday, September 8. The STU offense maintained their aggressive approach, scoring seven goals in the first half.
- St. Thomas dominated throughout the first half, captain Sandy Benito opened the scoring with her first goal of the season in the 13th minute, with an assist from Kayla Jackson, opening a 1-0 lead.
- Seconds later, Katharina Jüllich added her first goal of the season, extending the lead to 2-0.
- In the 19th minute, Leslie Deleon netted her first career goal at St. Thomas University.
- Isabella Santiago extended the lead to 4-0, with her first goal, as Jüllich added her fourth point of the first half.
- Captain, Andrea Manzur, also found the net for the first time this season, scoring off an assist from Nicole Maribona, putting the lead at 5-0, in the 23rd minute.
- Jackson also joined the fun, adding the sixth goal of the half for STU, her second of the season.
- FMU got on the board following a penalty kick, cutting the lead to 6-1 in the 44th minute.
- Captains, Manzur and Benito, each added their second goal of the game/season to push the lead to 8-1.
- Whitney Clark, Fiona Schmid, Maite Sanchez, Karina Medina and Arianna Quintanilla all added their first goals of the season in the second half.
- Jackson added two more goals, finishing the match with her first career hat trick, while adding an assist. Jackson currently leads STU with four goals in three matches.
