(September 21, 2019) - St. Thomas University Volleyball (5-7, 2-2 TSC) climbed to .500 in Sun Conference play, following a win against Johnson & Wales University (2-7, 0-3 TSC) on Saturday afternoon from the Fernandez Family Center. The Bobcats defeated the Wildcats in four sets (25-23, 25-18, 14-25, 25-23).

Game Notes
- Bolinger recorded the first two offensive points for the Bobcats and the set was tied 5-5, as STU capitalized on JWU errors.
- Chenault added a kill to tie the match at 11-11 and St. Thomas took a 13-11 lead following consecutive Wildcat errors.
- An Allende ace cut the deficit to 20-19.
- Batsel produced back-to-back kills to seal the first set victory for STU, 25-23.
- Sofia Adorno led a six-point Bobcat rally, recording three kills and giving St. Thomas a 10-4 advantage, forcing JWU to use a timeout.
- Chenault recorded another kill, one-of-seven for the match, to put the Bobcats ahead 17-10 in the second set.
- Adorno finished the set with a service ace and put St. Thomas ahead 2-0 in sets.
- STU fell behind early in the third set, and was not able to gather any momentum, dropping it 14-25.
- Bolinger led the way offensively in the fourth set, recording three kills in the first ten points, giving STU a 10-9 lead.
- St. Thomas was trailing 15-20, as the Bobcats rallied for eight-of-ten points, taking the lead with two consecutive kills by Adorno at 23-22.
- JWU made costly errors, dropping the set 25-23, and the match in the fourth set.
