Game Notes
- STU was trailing FNU, early in the first set, 1-6, following an opening point before a Chenault kill regained Bobcat momentum.
- The Bobcats rallied for seven consecutive points, bringing the score to 21-23, capitalizing on FNU errors.
- Florida National used a timeout but that did not stop the Bobcats. Irina Rakitina recorded a kill to cut the deficit to one point, 23-24.
- The Conquistadors won the set on the next play, 23-25.
- Allende added a kill of her own, as the Bobcats reclaimed the lead for the first time since the opening point, at 4-3 in the second set.
- FNU scored five-of-six points to take an 8-11 lead over the Bobcats.
- Chenault and Carli Batsel notched back-to-back kills to bring the deficit to one, and STU tied the match at 11-11 following a Conquistador error.
- Four consecutive kills by Florida National put the second set out of reach, as St. Thomas dropped the set 17-25.
- The Bobcats were their own worst enemy at the start of the third set, as four consecutive errors put STU behind 2-5.
- Three straight errors by Florida National allowed the Bobcats to tie the third set at 5-5.
- Florida National recorded seven-of-eight points to close out the sweep, winning the third set, 18-25.

St. Thomas has a quick turnaround and will head to Babson Park, Fla. to play the Warriors of Webber International University in a Sun Conference match-up on Saturday, September 28 with the match set to begin at 5 p.m.
