BABSON PARK, Fla. (September 28, 2019) - St. Thomas University Bobcats Volleyball (5-10, 2-4 TSC) lost in straight sets (19-25, 19-25, 20-25) to Webber International University (6-6, 2-3 TSC) on Saturday evening.

Game Notes
- St. Thomas returned to action on a quick turnaround, taking on the Warriors in Sun Conference action, following a match on Friday night against the FNU Conquistadors.
- WIU took five-of-six points to put STU behind 5-8, in the first set.
- Kills from Allende and Chenault tied the match at 8-8.
- Webber raillied for seven consecutive points, taking a 10-18 lead.
- St. Thomas battled back with a six-point rally of their own, as Allende and Lai each added two points.
- In the second set, the Bobcats trailed 2-7, before back-to-back kills from Allende cut the deficit to three.
- An Allende service ace gave St. Thomas their first lead of the set at 10-9.
- WIU rallied for another three consecutive points, taking a 14-17 lead, as STU called timeout.
- Allende recorded three straight points for STU, following the timeout, but the effort was not enough as STU dropped the second set, 19-25.
- St. Thomas trailed the entire third set, dropping the set, 20-25 and the match in straight sets.
