WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (January 16, 2020) - St. Thomas University (STU) Women's Basketball (7-11, 4-4 TSC) fell in Sun Conference play against Keiser University (9-9, 3-5 TSC) 85-76 on Thursday evening from the Student Life Center at Keiser.

- STU traveled to West Palm to take on the Seahawks in a pivotal Sun Conference match-up, as the clubs approach the midway point of the season.
- Entering the contest, St. Thomas had won five consecutive games against Keiser, dating back to 2017.
- Halfway through the first quarter, Vogel sank a jumper to tie the game at 6-6.
- Keiser rallied for a 10-3 run, over 3:18, taking a 16-9 lead over STU.
- Destiny Wilson cut the KU lead to 16-13, making a lay-up with 1:39 remaining in the first quarter.
- KU extended their lead to 35-17 before a Brooks jump shot ended an 11-0 run.
- Brooks added two more points to her total at the charity stripe, as the Bobcats went into halftime trailing 41-22.
- STU trailed by as many as 26-points in the third quarter, before a Dozier three-pointer cut the deficit to 68-51 as the quarter ended.
- Vogel's first three-pointer of the season had the Bobcats within 13-points, 69-56, with 8:38 remaining in the game.Ā
- Patricia Martinez - Sanz added a three-point bucket of her own to bring the Seahawks lead to ten, 72-62.
- The Bobcats clawed back into the game with a 12-2 run, spanning 2:18, bringing the score to 76-74 with 3:33 left in the contest.
- An ill-timed foul by St. Thomas put the game out of reach as Keiser converted an "and-one" and did not miss a free throw to seal a crucial Sun Conference win 85-76.
