MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (January 25, 2020) - St. Thomas University (STU) Women's Basketball (8-13, 5-6 TSC) ended three-game losing streak, defeating Warner University (2-19, 0-11 TSC) 58-47 in the Fernandez Family Center on Saturday afternoon.

- Brooks converted back-to-back lay-ups, extending the STU lead to 10-3, early in the first quarter.
- Following a Royals three-pointer, Dozier converted one of her own, maintaining the seven-point advantage for St. Thomas, 13-6.
- Warner rallied for a quick, 5-0 run, cutting the Bobcat lead to 13-11.
- Keaubree Edwards closed the first quarter, making a lay-up and ending the quarter with STU leading 16-11.
- Wilson recorded eight consecutive points, at the beginning of the second quarter, pushing St. Thomas ahead 24-15.Â
- WU ended the second quarter on 13-4 run, heading into the second half trailing, 29-28.
- Wilson notched another three-pointer, opening the second quarter and extending the STU lead.
- After cutting the deficit to one, 42-41, neither team scored over the final 2:18 of the third quarter.
- Following a Vogel free throw, Wilson added another three-pointer, as the lead extended to 48-41.
- Warner recorded only six points in the fourth quarter, as the Bobcats closed out the season sweep with a 58-47 win over the Royals.
