MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (January 16, 2021) - St. Thomas University (STU) Wrestling hosted the first home dual in program history on Saturday afternoon, facing off against Cumberland (TN.) and Brewton-Parker (GA.) in the Bobcat Duals from the Fernandez Family Center. 

STU vs. Cumberland (TN.) 12-46

• 133 - Nick Foster picked up the first home win in program history, via Major Decision, over Blaine Fussel (14-6).
• 141 - Malike Cook-Bey was defeated by fall against Keshawn Laws (3:44).
• 149 - Kade Clute was pinned by Anthony Maia (4:14).
• 157 - Daniel Garlin defeated Tyler Moore in Major Decision (12-2).
• 165 - Alexander Nieves was pinned by Cole Smith (0:28).
• 174 - Kevin Augustin lost by technical fall (16-0) against Austin Ancliffe.
• 184 - John Olivieri pinned Estaban Hoyos (2:12).
• 285 - Grant Clarkson pinned Jonathan Evans (1:16)

STU vs. Brewton Parker (GA.) 14-41

• 133 - Nick Foster earned the victory by pinning Bryant Santiago in the third round (5:20). 
• 141 - Malik Cook-Bey was pinned by Lucas Nelson in the second round (3:58).
• 149 - Kade Clute fell in a major decision (11-1) to Von Calhoun
• 157 - Daniel Garlin picked up a fall victory over Trace Insalaco (0:58).
• 165 - Kevin Augustin was pinned against Sebastian Valencia (4:56).
• 174 - Edens Valmy was defeated via fall against Sean Seery (1:27).
• 184 - Jonathan Evans was pinned by Noah Barclay (4:04).
