LAKE WALES, Fla. (January 23, 2021) - The St. Thomas University (STU) Women's Basketball team (11-3, 7-3 TSC) used a strong second half to defeat the Warner University Royals (6-12, 1-10 TSC) 70-58 on Saturday afternoon.

- Rodriguez opened the game with a three-pointer, but Warner quickly responded with one of their own to tie the game, 3-3.
- Warner's three-pointer started a 10-0 run by the Royals, but Martinez-Sanz halted the run with a lay-up.

- WU ended the quarter with a lay-up, which sent the game into the second quarter with the Royals' leading 20-17.

- Back-to-back buckets from Pressley, and a three-pointer from Anari Dozier, reclaimed the lead for the Bobcats, 51-49, as the game went into the fourth quarter.
- Keaubree Edwards recorded the first six points of the fourth quarter for St. Thomas, putting the score at 58-54.
- Brooke Bogatz followed with six consecutive points of her own to give STU a 64-54 lead with less than two minutes remaining in the game.
- Bogatz sealed the win from the charity stripe, as STU won 70-58 over Warner.Â
