The Biggest announcement of the week was the addition of Women's Lacrosse to the athletics roster. The Bobcat women's lacrosse team is set to start in Fall of 2022.

Volleyball
- Sweep the week 3-0 defeating Florida Memorial University (3-0), Florida College (3-1), and Southeastern University (3-0).
- Florida Memorial was the only unbeaten team left in Sun Conference play before the match.
- St. Thomas now sits alone atop the Sun Conference standings after the first go around between each team.
- The only lost came to College of Coastal Georgia on the road.
- St. Thomas has a 24-3 set record in SUN play.
- Bianca Grassi has been named back-to-back Sun Conference Defender of the Week for the second time this season. This brings her yearly total to five on the season.

Football
- St. Thomas is now receiving votes in the latest NAIA Coaches' Top-25 Poll.
- The continue to roll in this impressive season, remaining perfect after a 27-7 victory at Webber International University.
- The Bobcats are now on a nine-game winning streak dating back to October 31, 2020.
- Last week Tyler Thomas and Nicholas Engler were named Mid-South Conference Players of the Week winning offensive and defensive, respectively.
- Thomas threw for a program record six-passing touchdowns in one game against Warner.
- Engler picked up six tackles and sack for a loss of 15-yard loss, a forced fumble, and pass breakup and a blocked extra point attempt.
- This week, Kendall Wilson II was named Special Teams Player of the Week after blocking two punt attempts and returning one for a 12-yard touchdown.

Men's Soccer
- The men are ranked eighth in the latest NAIA Coaches' Poll Top-25.
- St. Thomas had a clean week defeating Ave Maria 2-1 on Wednesday and 4-2 against Southeastern on Saturday in the Sun Conference Game of the Week.
- Guido Cacciabue was named the Sun Conference Offensive Player of the Week after a five-point week being involved in four of the six goals.
- Cacciabue had a goal and three assists on the week.
- STU is one of four teams left in the nation undefeated with a 7-0-2 overall record.

Women's Soccer
- St. Thomas is currently ranked 22nd in the NAIA Coaches' Top-25 Poll.
- The Bobcats went 1-1 on the week with a big 7-0 win over Warner University.
- Katharina Juellich and Karina Medina both had mutli-goal games against the Royals.
- Melanie Lefebvre won the SUN Defender of the Week last week after a 1-0-1 week.

Men's and Women's Swimming
- St. Thomas Swimming made history on Saturday morning competing in their first dual meet against Ave Maria University.
- The women's team won 223-23 in the dual led by Andrea Guerrero who scored 27 points.
- The men's team won 244-17 in the dual led by Liam Henry, Nestor Montero, William Birkett, and Oier Fernandez all collecting 18 points.
- This was also the first home dual meet for the Bobcats.

Men's Golf
- The men's golf team is receiving votes in the latest NAIA Coaches' Top-25 poll.
- The Bobcats placed 11th out of 12 team in the NSU Shark Invitational.
- Jake Fournier led the way for the team.

Cross Country
- St. Thomas hosted the STU Bobcat Catholic Invitational on Saturday, October 9.
- The teams place third on both sides.
- Jonathan Memnon led the way on the men's side.
- Naomi Marcin led the way on the women's side.

Upcoming Events
- Men's and Women's Golf are at the Nancy Nichols Fall Invite hosted by Webber International on Monday-Tuesday, October 11-12.
- Volleyball starts the second round of conference play against Ave Maria on the road on Wednesday and taking on Warner at home on Saturday.
- Women's Soccer will take on #10 Southeastern University in the Sun Conference Game of the Week on Thursday from the Bobcat Turf Field at 7 p.m.
- They will then take the road on Saturday to play Thomas University at 1 p.m.
- Swimming will head to Tampa on Friday for their first NCAA dual.
- Men's Tennis will take on the Saint Leo Invitational from Friday - Sunday.
- Football will conclude their road trip on Saturday against the University of Fort Lauderdale at 12 p.m.
- Men's Soccer will take on Webber International in the Sun Conference Game of the Week on Saturday in Babson Park at 1:30 p.m.
