rd ranked St. Thomas University (STU) Women's Soccer team (6-1-2, 1-0-1 SUN) pick up their first Sun Conference win against the University of South Carolina Beaufort Sandsharks (5-4-1, 1-1-0 SUN) on Saturday, afternoon from the Bobcat Turf Field.

- The Bobcats came into the first half with a strong offensive advantage over the Sandsharks. Keeping the ball in their possession and keeping the Sandsharks on defense.
- Leonie Weide starts the off with a powerful first shot to the goalkeeper in attempts to put the Bobcats on the scoreboard.
- The Sandsharks attempted to get the ball into the Bobcats territory, but Melanie Lefebvre denies giving them a chance, saving two attempts in the first half.
- The second half begins and both teams change their starters in hopes to shake up the game.

- Karina Medina shoots the penalty kick and scores in the 50th-minute making that the second goal by Medina for the season.
- A wonderful corner kick by Medina to Kayla Jackson where she tries to head the ball in attempt to make another goal for the Bobcats, but unfortunately was too high.
- Sarolta Oppelland stays strong on defense when the intensity began to rise from the Sandsharks, not allowing any pressure to reach the Bobcats territory.
- Foul on USC Beaufort giving a opportunity to the Bobcats.
- Maite Sanchez takes the foul shot and scores in the 88th-minute, putting the Bobcats up by two (2-0) and recording her second goal of the season.
- Lefebvre ends the match with five saves, making that her second shutout for the Sun Conference Paly.
