MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (October 23, 2021) – The seventh ranked St. Thomas University (STU) Men's Soccer team (10-0-2, 6-0-1 SUN) defeated the Savannah College of Art and Design – Savannah (3-6-5, 1-4-2 SUN) in a back-and-forth battle on Saturday afternoon, 4-3. The Bobcats celebrated Senior Day and Homecoming from the Bobcat Turf Field for this thrilling Sun Conference matchup. St. Thomas continues to roll picking up their 10
th win of the season to remain undefeated and set themselves up for a big-time matchup against Keiser University for the Sun Conference regular season title.

Game Notes
- St. Thomas honored nine seniors for the Class of 2021 prior to the game.
- The offense put the pressure on early getting a lot of good opportunities, with four shots near frame.
- Facundo Cisterna was able to find the back of the net on the fifth shot of the game for his sixth goal of the season.
- Guido Cacciabue crossed the ball to the far back post on the left side where it found the head of Cisterna for goal number one on the day in the 20th minute.
- Cacciabue wasted no time to get a goal of his own for his fourth of the season.
- Domber chipped the ball in the box where it found the feet of Arzeno, who then attempted to get the ball into the net. Cacciabue finished the job with a high karate-kick volley to put it passed the keeper in the 22nd minute for the 2-0 lead.
- SCAD-Savannah would not back down without a fight as Matteo Tizzano fired a laser shot from about 15-yards out on the right side to the deep left corner of the goal.
- This made the match 2-1 in the 26th minute.
- The Bees would work their way back to tie it in the 38th minute on a chip over the keeper as Acerbi came out to try and get ahead of the shot.
- No one other than the man himself, Mark Oghogho, breaks the tie in the 39th minute when Domber set the play up again this time on a low cross into the box that found the foot of Oghogho for the one touch into the net.
- The second half did not slow down as Pascal Agostini joined the goal parade on a penalty kick that was just out of reach from the keeper who guessed on the right side.
- SCAD-Savannah would have a chance to chip away at the 4-2 St. Thomas lead in the 68th minute when the Bees were granted a penalty kick of their own after a hard foul in the box.
- The Bees penalty kick shot was hit off the left post passed the diving Acerbi but unable to take advantage of the scoring opportunity.
- In the 80th minute SCAD would come within one as the Bees forward won the one-on-one against Acerbi and put it passed him.
- The Bobcats would ultimately be able to hold onto the victory and remain undefeated with a final score of 4-3.

- The Bobcats will have a Sun Conference showdown in West Palm Beach for the regular season crown against Keiser University. The date is scheduled for Saturday, October 30 to close out regular season play, scheduled start time is 11 a.m.
