MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (November 8, 2021) – The fifth ranked St. Thomas University (STU) Men's Soccer team (12-0-2, 7-0-1 SUN) is headed back to the Sun Conference (SUN) title game after defeating Southeastern University (9-5-5, 3-3-2 SUN) in the Semifinal from the Bobcat Turf Field on Tuesday evening.
 
The Bobcats are looking to repeat as tournament champions. The game will be hosted on the Bobcat Turf Field as St. Thomas is the overall one seed and SUN Regular Season champions.
 
How it happened

• Soeren Zeidler had one of the biggest saves of the game in the 13^th minute.
• Franco Acerbi came out for the one-on-one and as the Fire forward was looking to strike past and give SEU the early lead, Zeidler came from behind with the sliding save.
• Facundo Cisterna got St. Thomas on the board first with a strike for 25+ yards out.
• Cisterna is now tied for second in goals and points on the team.
• Southeastern continued to apply pressure and keep the Bobcat defense on their toes.
• Sun Conference Player of the Year, Fernando Arzeno, gave the Bobcats the insure they needed with a 2-0 lead in the 67^th minute.
• Arzeno has now tied his season-high with nine goals and leads the team.
• Alvaro Bode scored the dagger in the match in the 81^st minute to make it 3-0.
• Southeastern managed to score a goal in the 89^th minute to make it 3-1.
