LAKE WALES, Fla. (February 27, 2021) - No. 4 St. Thomas University (9-6, 6-3 TSC) split a doubleheader in Sun Conference play against the Warner University Royals (9-5, 3-3 TSC) losing game two of the series, 7-7 and taking the finale 6-5 on Saturday afternoon from Royals Field.

- Guerra recorded the first hit of the game for STU, in the top of the third inning, with a single.Â
- After allowing one hit in the first two innings, Soto gave up a three-run home run in the bottom of the third as Warner took a 3-0 lead.
- WU recorded three consecutive hits in the bottom of the fourth, extending its lead to 4-0 over No. 4 St. Thomas.
- Fernando Medina relieved Soto in the bottom of the fifth inning with STU trailing 4-0.
- Two consecutive walks by Rangel and Rivero, followed by a two-run double from A. Fernandez, cut the Royals lead in half, 4-2, in the top of the sixth inning.Â
- Christian Dearman entered the game for St. Thomas in the bottom of the sixth inning, striking out the first batter he faced and ending the inning.
- The Bobcats tied the game in the top of the eighth inning as A. Fernandez and Khawly each brought in a run.Â
- Warner scored three runs off of Jose Machado in the bottom of the eighth inning, taking a 7-4 lead over STU.
- The Bobcats went down in order in the top of the ninth, dropping the series against Warner and game two, 7-4.

- Warner got on the board first in the series finale, scoring on a wild pitch in the bottom of the second inning.
- Montesino scored Khawly and Rivero with a two-run single in the top of the fourth inning, giving STU a 2-1 lead.
- WU tied the game in the bottom half of the inning with a sacrifice fly.
- An RBI single from Khawly scored Rivero, reclaiming the lead for STU, 3-2.
- The Royals hit a three-run home run in the bottom of the fifth inning to put the score at 5-3.
- With two outs in the top of the ninth, STU scored two runs on a Royals error to tie the game, 5-5.
- Estevez lined a single to center field, scoring Guerra, as STU took a 6-5 lead over Warner in the tenth inning.
- Luis Gonzalez recorded the final three outs, earning a win, and allowed STU to salvage the series finale with a 6-5 win.Â
