BRUNSWICK, GA. (March 27, 2021) - St. Thomas University Softball (8-10, 2-6 TSC) was swept by College of Coastal Georgia (13-5, 4-4 TSC) 4-5 and 2-9 in a doubleheader Saturday afternoon.
Game One:

Notes:
- Bobcats started off the game strong, adding a 1-0 run in the first inning with a run from Artiles.
- The second inning was scoreless for both the Bobcats and Mariners.
- Artiles hit an RBI in the top of the third, as well as Guillermo and Bautista, giving the Bobcats a 4-0 lead over the Mariners.
- Coastal added one run on their side of the board in the bottom of the fourth. With a runner on third, Winter struck out Thinger to close out the inning.
- With runners on second and third in the top of the fifth, Bobcats attempted to add a few more runs to their total, but a strikeout by Hauck ended the chance.
- Coastal Georgia brought themselves within two of the Bobcats to start to close the gap.
- Bobcats were unable to add any more runs in the top of the seventh, stranding Pacetti on second.
- Mariners started the bottom of the seventh by a home run, only putting them down 4-3.
- Following the home run, two more runs scored, closing the game 5-4 in favor of the Mariners.

Notes:
- The second game began with a quick two innings as both teams were scoreless going into the third inning.
- Bautista's single scored Spalding, putting the first run on of the game on the board for the Bobcats in the top of the third.
- Mariners tied the game 1-1 in the bottom of the fourth.
- In the bottom of the fifth, the Mariners hit a hot streak, adding five runs before the Bobcat pitching change, bringing Smits in to relieve Smith.
- After the pitching change, the Mariners added another two RBIs, giving them a seven-run lead over the Bobcats.
- A single from Guillermo added another run to the Bobcat total to try and close the gap.
- Mariners added a run to their total in the bottom of the sixth, giving them a 9-2 lead over the Bobcats.
- The Bobcats were unable to respond in the top of the seventh, securing the win for the Mariners.
