MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (April 16, 2021) – The St. Thomas University (STU) Men's Soccer team concluded their regular season campaign on Friday night from Bobcat Field. The Bobcats fell to the visiting NCAA Division II Lynn University Fighting Knights, but look ahead to their playoff run coming next week.

Game Notes

• Gianluca Gaster picked up his first career start in the net tonight.
• Eight Bobcats made their debut in the navy and burgundy in the regular season finale.
• Lynn got on the board early as the offensive pressure found the back of the net in the 22^nd minute.
• STU quickly countered and put a shot on goal as Robyn Lyman took advantage of his first start and just missed high.
• The Fighting Knights continued the offense in the second half as they put up their second goal in the 52^nd minute.
• Gaster made a an incredible debut although it may not reflect in the box score. The Bobcat keeper held down the defense cutting off multiple cross attempts and blocking corner kicks into the box.
• Lynn outshot the Bobcats 14-2, while St. Thomas had the bigger impact in the net.
