WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (April 6, 2021) - No. 14 St. Thomas University (STU) Bobcats Baseball (24-15) lost in a non-conference game to No. 8 Keiser University, 7-6, on Tuesday afternoon from Silvester Field.

Game Notes
- Lopez and Montesino both reached base to start the game for STU.Â
- Later in the inning, Lopez scored on a double-steal attempt, giving St. Thomas a 1-0 lead.
- Coipel sent the Seahawks down in order in the bottom of the first, providing a shutdown inning for the Bobcats.
- Mondejar led off the top of the second with his second home run of the season, extending the STU lead to 2-0.
- Khawly followed with a double to right field, and scored on consecutive sacrifice bunts from Fernandez and Lowry.
- Coipel kept KU off the scoreboard through five innings of work.Â
- Rangel got on base, courtesy of a Seahawks error, and quickly stole both second and third base but was unable to extend the Bobcat lead in the top of the sixth inning.
- The first four KU hitters reached safely for Keiser in the bottom of the sixth, as Coipel was relieved by JJ Galvis.
- KU continued to rally, getting on the scoreboard with an RBI single and taking a 4-3 lead with a three-run home run.
- The Keiser lead was short-lived, as A. Fernandez hit his fourth home, tying the game 4-4 in the top of the seventh inning.
- With Joel Rivero on the mound, KU reclaimed the lead, hitting their second home run of the game.
- STU tied the game once again in the top of the eighth inning, as Mondejar drove in Montesino with an RBI single.
- Khawly gave St. Thomas a 6-5 lead, driving in Joel Franco with an RBI single.
- Jose Ledesma entered into pitch for STU in the bottom of the ninth inning, looking to seal the 25th win of the season for STU in his first save chance.
- With two outs in the inning, KU walked-off with a two-run single, and beat STU, 7-6.
