WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (April 7, 2021) - St. Thomas University (STU) Softball (9-13, 3-9 TSC) dropped both halves of a mid-week Sun Conference doubleheader against Keiser University (16-10, 8-2 TSC) on Wednesday evening. The Bobcats lost game one 6-5 in ten innings, and followed with a 2-1 defeat in game two.

- KU had a runner reach third base and threatened to score in the bottom of the first inning, but Winter worked out of the inning without allowing a run.
- Winter held the Seahawks off the scoreboard for three innings, as the game remained tied, 0-0.
- Keiser got on the scoreboard in the bottom of the fourth, plating the games first runs with a two-run home run.
- The Bobcat offense was retired in order in each of the first six innings.
- Winter held Keiser to two-runs through six innings, keeping STU in the game.
- Spalding recorded the first hit of the afternoon for St. Thomas, ending the KU no-hitter.
- Artiles reached base via an error, as the reigning Sun Conference Player of the Week, represented the tying run.
- Pacetti lined a triple to left field, scoring the game-tying run, and putting the score at 2-2.
- Gilbert followed with a double, driving in Pacetti, as the Bobcats took a 3-2 lead.
- Samaniego capped off a four-run, top of the seventh inning for St. Thomas with an RBI groundout which scored Gilbert.
- With two outs in the bottom of the seventh, Keiser rallied as four consecutive Seahawks reached base, including a two-run single, which tied the game 4-4.
- Spalding tallied her second hit of the afternoon, this time scoring Uribe with an RBI double to center field, as STU took a 5-4 lead.
- KU tied the game again in the bottom of the eighth with an RBI single.
- Keiser walked-off in the bottom of the tenth inning and claimed a 6-5 victory in game one of the doubleheader.

- Gilbert started the top of the second with a lead-off triple to center field, but STU was unable to score to take an early lead.
- Uribe reached with a bunt single and advanced to second base with a stolen base.
- Hauck followed by reaching on a Seahawk error, as Uribe scored to give the Bobcats a 1-0 advantage.
- Smits sent down the first nine Seahawks she faced, holding KU out of the hit column with three perfect innings.
- Keiser added back-to-back singles, and tied the game 1-1 with an RBI groundout.
- KU took the lead for good, following an STU throwing error, in the bottom of the fourth, 2-1.
- Abbigail Smith relieved Smits in the bottom of the fifth, and induced a double play to end the inning.
- STU went down in order in the top of the seventh, as the Bobcats dropped both games in the Sun Conference doubleheader.
