MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (August 20, 2021) – St. Thomas University's (STU) Women's Soccer team (1-0-0) started off the year with a dominant offensive performance against the Carlow University Celtics (0-1-0). St. Thomas scored 10-goals on Friday night for the 2021 season opener from Monsignor Edward Pace High School.

• Lefebvre got the starting nod for the Bobcats in the net, she recorded her first win for the 2021 season.
• St. Thomas got off to an early start scoring their first goal in the ninth minute.
• Freshmen, Annika Geistert was the first Bobcat to get one in goal this season off the assist from DeLeon.
• STU would go on to score four more goals in the first half: Ferradaz (10'), Manzur (16'), Ferradaz (32'), and Maite Sanchez (43').
• Box score notable is the Bobcats outshot the Celtics 25-1.
• St. Thomas would then go on to add five more goals in the second half.
• Eight different Bobcats scored a goal in the season opener.
• Alyssa Consalvo and Miranda Ferradaz led the way in points with four a piece.
