HIALEAH, Fla. (August 27, 2021) – St. Thomas University's (STU) Women's Soccer team defeated the Conquistadors of Florida National University on Friday afternoon from Milander Stadium. The Bobcats took the match by a final of 1-0 over the Conquistadors.

Match Notes
- Lefebvre (2-0) got her second straight starting nod in the net, securing her first shutout of the season and sixth of her Bobcat career.
- St. Thomas added back two veteran starters to the lineup with Medina and Weide making their 2021 debut.
- The Bobcats held possession for most of the match and took control in the offensive end. The team had 24-shots with eleven being on goal.
- Megan Velazquez was the Most Valuable Bobcat scoring the lone goal of the match in the 53rd-minute.
- The cross came from Jullich into the six-yard box and Manzur had the one touch pass that led to the strike from Velazquez.
- STU's defense continued to cruise and shut down the opponent's offense, they have only allowed five-shots in the first two matches.
