MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (September 17, 2021) – St. Thomas University (STU) Women's Soccer team (5-0-1) scored nine goals against the Eagles of Faulkner University (Ala.) from Monsignor Edward Pace High School on Friday morning, to complete their fifth shutout of the season.

- Bobcats start off the first half with an amazing goal by Angelica De Don with an assist from Katharina Jullich in the 13th-minute.
- Leonie Weide made a beautiful cross into the six-yard box to Sarolta Oppeland who then had a one-touch goal with her left foot in the 34th-minute.Â
- Alexa Leizorek strikes a shot leading into Faulkner's own goal after a defender miscleared in the 37th-minute.Â
- Katharina Jullich takes on the keeper in a 1v1 to score goal number four on the match in the first three minutes of the second half.
- Kerris Abbot took over the goalkeeper duties in the second half.
- Bobcats Kayla Jackson forces a shot in with an assist by Karina Medina in the 65th-minute.Â
- Leslie Deleon scores from the six-yard box inside the left corner with assistance from Oppelland in the 67th-minute.Â
- Deleon passes the ball to Medina to put the Bobcats up by seven goals in the 73rd-minute.Â
- De Don passed the ball from the corner to Weide who shot on a one-touch outside the 18-yard box and nailed it off the right post to bank in the eight goal of the match in the 83rd-minute.
- Sarolta Oppelland had the assist to Megan Velazquez helping St. Thomas to seal the match with the ninth goal in the 85th-minute.
- Karina Medina, Katharina Jullich, Angelica De Don, and Leonie Weide were St. Thomas leaders in their match versus Faulkner University.
