LAKE WALES, Fla.  (September 18, 2021) -  The St. Thomas University (STU) Women's Volleyball team (8-4, 2-0 SUN) swept the Royals of Warner University in three sets on Saturday afternoon from the Turner Athletic Center. St. Thomas took the match 25-13 in set one, 25-20, in set two and 25-17 in set three.

• St. Thomas swept both conference matches this week in three sets moving to 2-0 in Sun Conference play.
• The Bobcats are now riding a five-game win streak.
• STU improves to 17-6 against Warner.
• Amanda Allende was the leader for the match off the bench having eight-kills, hitting .667, and collecting four-digs.
• This ties the longest win streak of the Battoe Era at five and is the best start in conference play since 2017.
• STU went on a 12-5 run in the first set that proved to be the differentiator to take Set One and set the tone of the match early.
• The Bobcats hit a season high .375 as a team while holding Warner to their lowest hitting game of the season at -.040.
• STU's defense also led the match with eight-blocks.
